Kids Ink™ a web to print platform that allows children to design their very own personalised re-usable bag, is set to become a popular interactive educational tool in schools nationwide.

Middlethorpe Primary Academy have used Kids Ink™ to turn serious educational topics into something fun and enjoyable, that children want to learn about. The school have labelled Kids Ink™ as the ‘bags of wellness’ encouraging children to draw on healthy food such as bananas and apples, in their personalised bag designs.

These fantastic bags are a great way to remind children about the healthy food that they should strive to fill up their lunch bag with, encouraging children to live a healthy lifestyle. Government statistics show that nearly a third of children aged 2-15 are overweight or obese. Therefore, it is important that schools actively engage children in healthy eating topics.

“A fantastic way to learn about keeping healthy. A great opportunity to incorporate everything from DT to looking at the environment in an engaging way” Dawn Blease teacher at Middlethorpe primary Academy.

The bags are also lined with inbuilt Biomaster antimicrobial protection which inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria to grow on surfaces. This is a great feature that allows teachers to talk about how bacteria and germs can harbour in unsuspecting places that could lead to being seriously ill, and what children can do to prevent this.

Kids Ink™ is great for making any lesson more engaging and fun, and it perfectly fits under ‘citizenship’ in the curriculum. These bags can be incorporated into a large range of topics, recycling, sustainability, hygiene, healthy eating, and design and technology, making Kids Ink™ the perfect tool for active learning.
